MEETING RESCHEDULED

October Executive Board meeting changed to fourth Wednesday Local 1's Executive Board meeting in October will be on the fourth Wednesday (Oct. 28), not the fourth Tuesday, by action taken at September's Executive Board/General Membership meeting in Canton.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Akron Printers Hall. This does not affect the date of our Annual Membership Meeting, which will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Guild office in Brooklyn Heights. Notice of that meeting has already been mailed to all Local 1 members.

BOARD CHANGES MEETING DATE

The date of Local 1's Executive Board/General Membership meeting for September has been changed to Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Guild's office in downtown Canton at 203 Market Ave. S.

The change was approved by the Executive Board at its meeting June 23. The Board hopes the change will reduce conflicts with work schedules being experienced by a number of delegates. Delegates are reminded that the Executive Board will not meet in July or August.

Directions: Take I-77 South past the Pro Football Hall of Fame to the West Tuscarawas Street exit. Turn left off the exit ramp onto West Tuscarawas Street and follow it into downtown Canton. When you get to the square, turn right onto Market Avenue. At the next traffic light, turn right onto 2nd St. N.W. You can either park on the street or in the parking lot that will be on your right. The entrance to the Guild office is at 203 S. Market Street, just south of 2nd Street, one door past the Canton Flower Shop entrance. Go up the numerous stairs and take the long hallway to the last door on the right.
